Our rooms have unusual names in that they have been named after the manors mentioned in Jane Austen's beloved novel "Pride and Prejudice". Remember Mr. Darcy? You will surely love the Pemberley Suite! The Longbourn has feminine touches as only Elizabeth Bennett's home would. After all, she shared it with her four sisters! Rosings is away from everyone else as it should be for it was named after Mr. Darcy's wealthy aunt's estate (Lady Catherine de Bourgh). The Netherfield with its garden view reminded us of the estate where Mr. Bingley enjoyed the outdoors so much. The Hunsford was named after Mr. Collins' small abode down from Rosings Park. Because it is dressed in Hunting Pinks and has the same three letters as Hunsford, we felt it appropriate to name it as such. Each room has its own unique flavor of decor.
Our sleeping chambers and suites are beautifully decorated in the Victorian style but all have modern conveniences, each with it's own private bath, air conditioning, reading lamps, television, DVD players, and some with gas fireplaces and one with a private deck. Guests have full use of a reading and video library, use of puzzles, board games and chess boards. A pianoforte is found in the dining room for your musical pleasure. Wireless internet and use of FAX machine are available.
We are sure our rooms, suites and especially the entire Inn will exceed your expectations. Choose from our several attractive rooms and suites, all with private baths, cable television with DVD players, and full amenities.
