About Us
We opened our home to the public as a Bed and Breakfast Inn in 2004 after living in the four story square Victorian home since 1996. Proceeds of the Inn go toward the maintenance of the church across the street known as The Way of Life Assembly of God. We came from Medford, New Jersey to start up a missions church for this area after having our hearts broken seeing the need for a refuge for the people who live on the island. We bought the home from a Polish baron one year after starting the church. The church has grown from being called a missions church to now being known as a co-operative fellowship with the Assemblies of God.
We have taken opportunites to travel to Europe by cruise liner stopping off in Portugal, Spain and Italy; enjoyed the sights of Paris, France and England while visitng our oldest daughter and we have travelled by plane and sailboat to the various islands that we love so well. We have also strolled and cruised at the Riverwalk while visiting our youngest daughter's family in San Antonio, TX. Besides travel, we enjoy tennis together, going to the beach, reading, riding our Vespa motorcycle and bikes as well as jogging on the boards. Living one and a half blocks from the boardwalk and beach enables us to enjoy more of life than most. This is one of our reasons for sharing our home with others so that they may experience a little piece of heaven on earth also. |
